Corn

Corn or maize is an annual from the grass family. It is one of the most ancient agricultural crops on our planet and maybe one of the most significant. It is applied in culinary art, industry, medicine and as animal feed. Depending on the variety the weight of 1000 seeds varies from 100 to 400 grams, and the corn cob forms from 200 to 1000 kernels. Ukrainian nature provides ideal conditions for cultivation of this crop as it does well on a fertile land, where it is warm and sunny.
